Start with a lighter weight, and get your form down before moving up. Learn the most basic move, the Swing, which will engage your core. The Push Press isolates your muscles, allowing you to focus on one side at a time. The Turkish Get Up strengthens your shoulder, your core, and even improves your mobility as well.
