In this episode of The Weekly Flickr, we profile photographer Troy Paiva, who goes out on full moon nights taking spooky photos of the abandoned underbelly of America. Many of the subjects he shoots are already gone; bulldozed, burned down, melted for scrap or simply vanished beneath the shifting desert sand. Troy has explored the American Southwest since the 1970s and uses a custom technique called ‘night photography’ to capture his haunting photographs. Perfect for Halloween!
