Wanna wow your guest and confuse them on the same time? are trying telling your sizzling date that you might be cooking Filet Mignon with Chocolate! you can sound lovely fancy and artful…and if you happen to pull it off…

  • four (6-ounce) filet mignon steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 small or half large onion, small cube
  • four massive garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon floor cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon floor cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked sweet paprika or common sweet paprika
  • 1 cup simple tomato sauce
  • half cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup brewed espresso, darkish roast
  • half of cup crimson wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard


Preheat the grill to medium warmth.

carry the steaks to room temperature, about 20 minutes. Rub the steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper, to style. set aside.
